1. Data controller

The controller of your personal data is Valmarc S.A.S., owner of the DIETY brand, located at El Quinche, Calle San José de Iguiñaro y Vía Férrea, Lote 11, Quito, Ecuador. 2. Data we collect

• WhatsApp orders and inquiries: name, phone number, province, canton, delivery address, requested products and notes. They are sent to our WhatsApp Business account only when you tap the send button.
• Distributor requests: name, business name and type, city, phone and message, sent via WhatsApp or email.
• Technical data: the site stores your cart and form details in your own browser (local storage) so you do not have to retype them. That information is not sent to our servers.
• We do not use advertising tracking cookies or behavioral profiling.

3. Purposes

• Confirm, prepare and ship your orders and quote shipping.
• Answer inquiries, complaints and distribution requests.
• Comply with legal, accounting and tax obligations.
• With your express consent, send news or promotions on WhatsApp. Reply "STOP" to withdraw it at any time.

4. Legal basis

We process your data to carry out the commercial relationship you request, to meet legal obligations and, where applicable, based on your consent.

5. Sharing

Only with parties needed to fulfil your order: courier companies for delivery and technology providers such as WhatsApp (Meta Platforms) and our web host. We do not sell or transfer your data for marketing. Links to third-party stores (Supermaxi, Coral Hipermercados and others) lead to sites with their own privacy policies.

6. Third-party services

This site loads Google Fonts and a Google Maps embed, which may log your IP address under Google's privacy policy.

7. Retention

Order data is kept as long as needed to fulfil it and for the periods required by Ecuadorian tax law. Inquiry conversations are deleted when no longer necessary.

8. Your rights

You may exercise your rights of access, rectification, update, deletion, objection, portability and suspension by writing to gavelam@dietyecuador.com. You may also file a complaint with Ecuador's Personal Data Protection Superintendence.

9. Security

We apply reasonable measures such as restricted access to our WhatsApp Business account and corporate email, and encrypted connections (HTTPS) on this site.

10. Minors

Our products may be eaten by children, but orders and use of this website are intended for adults or minors supervised by their guardians.

11. Changes

We may update this policy. The current version and its date will always be published on this page.
